eBay is solidifying its presence on Apple Watch with the launch of an app that brings the popular marketplace to the wrist of both buyers and sellers.
The app enables buyers to monitor auctions while also helping sellers stay responsive to their customers and up-to-date with their selling activity. According to eBay, the app was developed for Apple Watch’s screen size with the goal of taking wearable commerce to a level that’s intuitive and personal. In fact, the app provides both buyers and sellers with timely, relevant and personal updates so that users can stay connected to the events they are most interested in.
“eBay continues to evolve its product offerings by creating engaging, curated and simplified shopping experiences for customers across all devices,” said David Cheng, director of mobile product at eBay. “With the new realm of ‘glanceable commerce,’ we’re continuing to provide our customers with timely updates so they are always connected to the activities that matter most to them.”
It is important to note that the app provides both buyers and sellers quick overviews of their eBay activity as well as enables them to view more detailed information straight from their push notifications.
