It is officially spring, which means that many people will be spending more time outside to enjoy the warmer weather and longer daylight hours.
Some of the many places people will be visiting, of course, are the country’s national parks, such as Yellowstone or Yosemite. To make it easier to navigate these parks, National Geographic offers a National Parks app for iOS devices, which includes an interactive guide to 25 of America’s most popular parks.
The app offers photo galleries, visitor information and maps for free, as well as enables users to purchase full guides for a richer experience. Plus, each park guide includes important information like local time, weather, directions, where to camp or stay and more. Users can also collect a custom-designed stamp from each park they visit, as well as track their favorite parks and activities through the app.
The National Parks app includes information for Acadia, Arcges, Badlands Big Bend, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Crater Lake, Death Valley, Denali, Everglades, Glacier, Glacier Bay, Grand Canyon, Grand Teton, Great Smoky Mountains, Haleakalā, Hawai’i Volcanoes, Hot Springs, Joshua Tree, Mount Rainier, Olympic, Rocky Mountain, Sequoia and Kings Canyon, Shenandoah, Yellowstone, Yosemite and Zion.
