Perhaps Facebook didn’t need to shell out one billion dollars to acquire Instagram after all.
The world’s largest social network has launched a second new app this week – Facebook Camera.
Facebook Camera is a social photo app that enables users to edit and share photos onto Facebook. The app’s home page is a news feed that is made up of photos from a user’s Facebook friends. From the home screen users can like and comment on images, or use the camera to capture and edit their own photos. Users can also choose to edit, filter and post previously taken photos, as well as tag friends and add captions to their images. The app also enables multiple images to be edited and posted all at once if desired.
However there is more bad news for Android users – just like the Pages app that was launched earlier this week, Facebook Camera is currently only available in the Apple App store.
