LinkedIn Offers Apps for Everyone

Windows Phone LinkedIn App

LinkedIn is going app crazy!

Just two weeks ago, the professional social network finally launched the long awaited iPad app, and now the company is following it up with launching an app for Windows Phone – which might actually be better than both the Android and iOS apps.

The unique design of the Windows Phone app takes advantage of the platform’s metro design and live tiles. It enables users to connect with other professionals, access real-time updates, discover news, stay up-to-date with professional groups and, unlike the iOS and Android apps, users can even follow companies and search for jobs.

Windows Phone users can use the jobs tile to browse through suggested jobs and save listings, while the companies tile enables users to search for and follow the activity of a specific company. Both of these features are particularly interesting, especially because the recently launched iPad app doesn’t even include these options, which are very valuable tools for users who want to leverage the social network while on the job hunt.

Windows Phone users can download the app for free in the Windows Phone marketplace and start connecting with more than 150 million professionals while on the go.
