Just in time for graduation season, LinkedIn has unveiled a new app specifically for students.
The LinkedIn Students app was created for soon-to-be college graduates looking to find jobs that fit their major. What’s more, the app helps graduates find companies that tend to hire from their school and provides insights into career paths of recent alumni with similar degrees.
It is important to note that the app aims to combat the problem many new graduates face – underemployment. According to LinkedIn, users can think of the app as their personal job exploration guide to find job recommendations based on real data. Plus, the app makes it easy for students to look for careers on-the-go, such as when walking between classes or while waiting in line at the coffee shop.
The LinkedIn Students app is available for both iOS and Android users in the United States.
